Eco and Educational Cycling Tour

Eco and Educational Cycling Tour

Ever dreamed of breakfast above a volcano?

You will be picked up at the Villa between about 8.30 am, and go to the rim of Mount Batur (about 20 minutes up the road), where breakfast is served while enjoying some of the most stunning views in Bali.

Then it's off on your mountain bikes through the heartland of Bali, cycling down hill all the way on secret back roads and minor village roads with little traffic, enjoying the beautiful Balinese landscape on the way to Ubud, arriving just in time for a great Balinese lunch. Little effort required!

There's an optional stretch of flat or uphill ride as you wish.

You will see sights other visitors never see, and their experienced guides will explain Bali's amazing culture. You will visit a Balinese home, a Balinese coffee plantation and sample the coffees, a village temple, go for a short walk in the rice paddies and see traditional craftsmen at work en route, and stop if there’s anything interesting on the way.

After lunch you have the choice of going to Ubud Monkey Forest.

Tour includes:

• pick up and return to the Villa by air-conditioned car
• mountain bike and safety helmet
• full breakfast and lunch (Balinese feast)
• water and fruit on tour
• entrance fees
• wet weather gear when necessary
• cold face towels after your ride
• an explanation of Balinese culture from the guide
• all the scenery you could wish for
