Private Tour

Bali is a unique Hindu island and Ubud is its cultural heart. We have arranged a very special cultural tour with luxury accommodation.

Murni's Villas are owned by Murni, a famous pioneer of Balinese tourism; 6 acre gardens, rice terraces and a 15 metre infinity pool.

Today you will be met at the airport and driven through scenic rice paddies and ancient villages to Murni's Villas. Free tropical welcome drink and snacks on arrival.

Day 2:  Massage and Lunch

Have a free pampering 1 hour massage in your Villa by one of the island's best masseurs and a fabulous Balinese welcome lunch in Murni's home. If they are around, the owners, who wrote the book Secrets of Bali, will give a talk on Balinese life and culture.

Day 3: Tour of Ubud

Enjoy a private tour of Ubud, exploring the market, Monkey Forest and Neka Art Museum. In the evening Balinese dances or shadow puppet  performances.

Day 4: Walk and Offerings

Guided morning walk in the rice terraces around Murni's Villas and a lesson on making Balinese offerings. The afternoon at leisure or chose an optional activity.

Day 5: Archeological Tour

A full day's tour, taking in Yeh Pulu (14th century carved cliff face), Pejeng (the old capital with its famous temple and 1,000 year old bronze drum), Museum Purbakala, the archeological museum, and Tirta Empul (sacred bathing springs).

Day 6: Optional Activity

Spend the morning at leisure or chose an optional activity. You are free in the afternoon. In the evening Balinese dances or shadow puppets.

Day 7: Mount and Lake Batur

Enjoy the best views of Mount Batur, a live volcano and huge lake, the 11th century rock tombs of Gunung Kawi and villages.

Day 8: Optional Activity

Chose an optional activity in the morning or afternoon. You are free the rest of the day. In the evening Balinese dances or shadow puppets.

Day 9: Tour of East Bali

A full day's tour visiting the Justice Hall in Klungkung, the holy Bat Cave, Candi Dasa on the coast and the old village of Tenganan.

Day 10: Optional Activities

Chose an optional activity in the morning and if you wish another in the afternoon.

Day 11: Departure

Today you will be taken to the airport.
