Murni’s Warung prioritises Health and Safety

We are committed to the health and safety of our guests and staff. Nothing is more important to us.

Due to Coronavirus (Covid-19), and with guidance from the World Health Organization, and the Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants Association, Murni’s Warung has implemented the following 25 health measures.

1. We conduct non-contact infrared temperature checks of staff every day when they arrive and when they leave, and log these in a book. If they have a fever, they must go home immediately.

2. We do the same with guests and visitors for the safety of everyone. If anyone has a fever, we will invite them to have a rapid test from the nearby clinic in Ubud, which is open 24 hours a day.

3. On arrival we will show guests where they can wash their hands. Electric Hand Dryers are installed in the bathrooms.

4. We can keep guests’ contact details if requested.

5. You can book and order in advance by email or phone if you wish.

6. Staff have a shower when they arrive for work and change into their uniforms and new mask. Their outside clothes and shoes are kept in their own individual lockers.

7. Staff lockers are disinfected every day.

8. Work uniforms are washed every day.

9. Staff wear masks and face shields.

10. Masks and face shields are washed every day.

11. We do not shake hands or have physical contact with other people and maintain a safe distance from everyone at all times.

12. We practise social distancing of at least 2 meters, as much as we can, and do not unnecessarily gather in one spot.

13. We frequently clean and sanitise the building, including toilets, door handles, handrails, tables, menus, phones, credit card machines, and other frequently touched areas with anti-viral and anti-bacterial detergent.

14. We wash our hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, (especially after using the bathroom, after blowing our noses, coughing or sneezing).

15. We wash our hands before preparing, serving and after serving food.

16. We clean the tables before and after serving food.

17. We have lots of space and serve food on tables that are 2 metres apart.

18. Tables for food are not enclosed and are in the open air (with a covered roof).

19. Murni’s Warung has good ventilation and no air-conditioning.

20. You can pay by credit card (MasterCard or Visa), or, with enough notice, by email online, so that there is no contact with money.

21. If an employee feels sick or unwell or has a fever, or anyone in their family is in the same condition, they must stay at home.

22. An employee must be fever-free for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medication, before returning to work.

23. If an employee is diagnosed with Covid-19, they must stay at home for at least 14 days quarantine.

24. If any member of their family feels unwell, they must tell me and I will investigate.

25. If any member of their family is diagnosed with Covid-19, the employee must stay at home.

Murni’s Houses & Spa’s Health and Safety Protections for Guest Transport

1. Before leaving his house, the driver will wash and disinfect the car, inside and out.

2. He will come first to Murni’s Houses & Spa and we will take his temperature and check he has a mask. If he has a fever, we will get another driver.

3. We will ask if anyone in his family has any symptoms.

4. We will ask him to disinfect the car again, inside and out, including the car handles, and we will supervise that.

5. The driver will wash his hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before getting back into the car.

6. The driver will have hand sanitiser, disinfectant and tissues in the car

7. When you meet, he will not shake hands.

8. He will disinfect your luggage – and if you wish your clothes and shoes.

9. As far as possible, he will keep to the social distancing guidelines.

10. You have the option of air-conditioning or not in the car. Just tell the driver.

11. When you arrive at Murni’s Houses & Spa we will disinfect the luggage again.

12. Same procedure for any tours you book through us.

13. You can order (and pay for) pick ups, drops and tours in advance by email, so there is no contact with money.

13. We disinfect the room before and after treatments.

15. Our therapists wash their hands in soap and water for at least 20 seconds before starting and after treatments.

16. We will continue to be responsible for cleaning and sterilising all our equipment, before and after treating guests, for example, for hot stone massages, aromatherapy, manicures and pedicures. We sterilise product containers.

17. You have the option of air-conditioning or not.

18. You have the option of treatments in the open air.

19. We can take payment in advance on line, so there is no contact with money or credit card machines.
