Balinese women wear elaborate hairstyles at Balinese ceremonies which are enhanced with combs.

This large, split comb is sculptural and striking. The form is similar to Balinese representations of Dewi Sri, the goddess of rice, with a wide, fanned-out headdress, known as cili.
