Murni’s Houses & Spa prioritises Health and Safety

We are committed to the health and safety of our guests and staff. Nothing is more important to us.

Due to Coronavirus (Covid-19), and with guidance from the World Health Organization, and the Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants Association, Murni’s Houses has implemented the following 25 health measures.

 

1. We conduct non-contact infrared temperature checks of staff every day when they arrive and when they leave, and log these in a book. If they have a fever, they must go home immediately.

 

2. We do the same with guests and visitors for the safety of everyone. If anyone has a fever, we will invite them to have a rapid test from the nearby clinic in Ubud, which is open 24 hours a day.

 

3. Luggage is disinfected.

 

4. Staff have a hot shower when they arrive for work and change into their uniforms and new mask. Their outside clothes and shoes are kept in their own individual lockers.

 

5. Staff lockers are disinfected every day.

 

6. Work uniforms are washed every day.

 

7. Staff wear masks.

 

8. Masks are washed every day.

 

9. We do not shake hands or have physical contact with other people and maintain a safe distance from everyone at all times.

 

10. We practise social distancing of at least 2 meters, as much as we can, and do not unnecessarily gather in one spot.

 

11. Elevator for use of one person or one family only.

 

12. We frequently clean and sanitise door handles, handrails, tables, phones, credit card machines, elevator buttons and other frequently touched areas with anti-viral and anti-bacterial detergent.

 

13. We wash our hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, (especially after using the bathroom, after blowing our noses, coughing or sneezing).

 

14. We wash our hands before preparing, serving and after serving food.

 

15. We clean the tables before and after serving food.

 

16. We serve food on tables that are 2 metres apart, or, if requested, on your private verandah.

 

17. Tables for food are not enclosed and are in the open air (with a covered roof).

 

18. Rooms have good ventilation (with fly screens) and windows can all be opened. Air-conditioning is optional.

 

19. The pool is chlorinated.

 

20. If an employee feels sick or unwell or has a fever, or anyone in their family is in the same condition, they must stay at home.

 

21. An employee must be fever-free for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medication, before returning to work.

 

22. If an employee is diagnosed with Covid-19, they must stay at home for at least 14 days quarantine.

 

23. If any member of their family feels unwell, they must tell me and I will investigate.

 

24. If any member of their family is diagnosed with Covid-19, the employee must stay at home.

 

25. We are monitoring Covid-19 closely, so that this programwill be continuously reviewed and updated to stay current with the latest developments and scientific findings regarding COVID-19.
