Height 69 cm, width 27.5 cm
Order Number: SPC45

Background: Durno was a Brahman teacher to both the Pandawa and the Kurawa. His favourite pupil was Arjuna. On the Kurawa side, he was opposed by Kresna.

On the sixth day of the final war, the Pandawa fled from him. Kresno ordered Bimo to kill an elephant with the same name as his son, Aswatama.

Durno heard that “Aswatama is dead” and asked Yudistiro if this was true. He confirmed the half-truth. Durno stood on the battle field in despair until Drestadjumena ran up and cut off his head. From afar, Aswatama witnessed it and swore revenge.
